Business document tools.
Browser-based offer, invoice and receipt templates with multilingual output, calculated totals and input checks before PDF export.
Overview
A repeatable path from inputs to document
Built for Changify’s own business administration, these tools cover offers, invoices and self-issued receipts. Editable browser forms replace repeated layout work with structured fields, calculated totals and a consistent A4 document.
The challenge
Keep language and arithmetic together
Preparing documents across languages means maintaining labels, customer details, line items and payment terms together. A copied template can leave an old reference or an incorrect total behind. The tools calculate the numbers and check required inputs before export.
The approach
Document workflows with browser-based processing
HTML, CSS and JavaScript handle editing, language selection and validation. Document inputs remain in the browser and exported file; there is no submission or draft storage. PDF export uses a browser library, with a separate print layout for the browser’s print dialog.
Architecture
From editable fields to an A4 document.
- 01SelectDocument · language · customer type
- 02CompleteDetails · line items · terms
- 03CheckRequired fields · dates · totals
- 04ExportPDF download or browser print
These are internal document tools. They prepare files for review and use; they do not send documents or replace accounting software.
What it does.
Multilingual document output
Offers support Croatian, English and German. Invoices support German, German/English and German/Croatian layouts. Self-issued receipts use German/English labels.
Calculated totals and payment details
Offer and invoice line items calculate their totals from quantity and price. Invoices also calculate the due date and payment reference from the entered details.
Validation before export
Required fields, valid dates and numeric inputs are checked before PDF export or printing. Corrections are shown in the editing view so the document can be reviewed before it leaves the browser.
PDF and print layouts
A4 export hides editing controls and names the PDF using the document type and number. Browser printing offers a second export path. Inputs are not stored between visits.
